Just a reminder that TONIGHT, Live at the Fountains @ Ardrey Kell, TWBM Band is the featured artist.  we'll be doing a 20 minute quasi acoustic set.   Show starts @ 7 and we go on @ 8.

On going acoustic

I've said over and over again that the connection created by the music is almost more important than the music itself. Almost. So the idea of taking things down a few notches and letting the songs breathe a bit is actually something I look forward to. One thing that I've often heard said (and said myself on occassion) is that a good song is a good song no matter how you play it, and vice versa. This is why I explain to people that a cover of a bad song is still a bad song. The lyrics, the melody, those things are still in tact. So if the song was awful to start, it remains so. The same can be said, I think, for good songs (although I think it is possible to ruin them with bad covers, but that's another story). I believe our songs are good tunes, so no matter how we play them, they should be equally good. Maybe there is preferred manner of playing them, a way they were "meant" to be heard, but a good song should stand. And, to be honest, all these songs started as acoustic jams anyway.

I'm looking forward to people hearing them this way again. Come on out if you can. June 21 at The Fountain near Ardrey Kell. We go on at 8!

Upcoming gig- June 21st

So,  open mic nights are always fun-  and when you're invited as the featured artist, those are also pretty stellar.     That's what's happening June 21st, at the Fountains @ Ardrey Kell.   Come on out and enjoy an acoustic set and hear some new tunes from our new album, Separation Anxiety.
